Recently reading some linux and opensource blogs, viewing some screenshots that show current status of docky project, a excelent mono based dock for gnome desktop. I wanted to try it, but the packages for fedora are not avalaible. I decides construct it based in current gnome-do SRPMS hosted in koji.

ICONTeX Released

Yesterday i push in gitorious the first commit of ICONTeX, a set of XSLT and LaTeX Styles files in order to comply ICONTEC Norms using DBLaTeX.

MonoDevelop 2.0 running in Fedora 10

This afternoon I rebuilt the MonoDevelop 2.0 sources rpm currently available in Koji System for Fedora 11.

I got good results.

The i386 binaries rpm can be downloaded from:

http://is.gd/A2AL

md5sum and sha512sum files are signed. My OpenGPG Public Key.

Remember these packages are very unstable and not supported, try it at your own risk.

I decided to move the usability theme to the murrine engine.

To get murrine engine:
svn co http://svn.gnome.org/svn/murrine/trunk murrine-engine $ cd murrine-engine $ ./autogen.sh --prefix=$HOME/.local You can change the prefix folder . $ make $ make install $ echo "export GTK_PATH=$HOME/.local/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0" >> ~/.bashrc Remember: ">>" not ">" Now restart your session

Fixed Bugs:

Fixed Typo error, name is “Usability” not “Usable”
Fixed Inactive ButtomBox Colors
Fixed Inactive MenuItem Colors
Improved ToolBar Buttons Colors
Improved xfwm4 theme, currently use fewer colors and is more unified.
Improved Scale widgets color

To get the big blured shadow in xfwm4, change the “SHADOW_RADIUS” preprocessor directive in file “src/composite.c” from xfwm4 sources.
Download Patch File
The best alternative is patching the source package (as SRPM) and rebuild it.

Hi,

Usability is a GTK Theme for ClearLooks engine, is my current desktop theme.
Usability combine uniform and unified style of Darkilouche and the elegant look of Aurora Midnight.
The Xfwm theme is Shiki Color. Included theme is a optimized version maked from this.
Icon Set: Gnome Colors.
